Currently all Railroad Ties are being hand selected and being considered in great condition. Keep in mind they are all used and will show signs of being used in the railroad, weathered, etc.
All railroad ties are used and sold as-is. We are unable to pick individual ties per order but you can select the overall grade that the ties should be picked from.
Ties are made from Oak trees.
Notice: All ties are Cresote treated and if used in a vegetable garden should be separated by a barrier so the roots of any plants don't make contact with the ties or cresote.
